Appomattox County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve official booking records. Contact the responsible public office directly for those requests.

Official Records Contacts

The Sheriff is the starting point for Appomattox County adult law-enforcement records. ACADC is the researched regional current-custody path. BRRJA has its own records process for facility-held material. Office hours describe public contact availability and do not establish jail operations or immediate record production.

For a local adult arrest or routine initial-booking request, provide a full name, date range, location, and any case or incident number. The home page explains how current custody, records requests, VADOC, and court status are different channels. Court procedure belongs with the clerk and OCIS. VADOC applies when state custody or supervision is involved. Federal or immigration custody needs the appropriate federal agency locator.

  • For a possible current regional custody event, begin with ACADC and confirm a result directly.
  • For a Sheriff-held adult arrest or booking record, use the County FOIA route.
  • For BRRJA facility material, specify the known facility and use the Authority’s FOIA contact.
  • For a court disposition, begin with Virginia OCIS or the appropriate Appomattox court clerk.
  • For a possible warrant, seek procedural direction from the Sheriff, relevant court, or a lawyer, not a commercial record page.
